Today I Run
It’s been awhile since I have run with any consistency. December 8th was a year since I had a micro lumbar discectomy. My recovery has been slow, but these past few months I’ve been able to exercise more consistently. Yay for progress! Just short run/walks, 45 minutes or so, mixing it up with the occasional, hike, bike, or yoga. I know if I can find the focus the fitness will come. Yet I’m slow to start. Having a goal on the calendar was a big part of my training success, but I can’t seem to pick a race and write it down. I’m still healing and yes it’s taking forever and yes I’m running short on patience. I know my body will tell me when it’s time to race, so today I run.
